An initial idea, after prototyping, crowdfunding/market testing and market recognition, needs production intervention to help the productization and marketization. At this stage, the difficult part is not finding a manufacturer, but to find a manufacturing partner that could help the startup team to do small batch production. Chaihuo x.factory has specially launched a factory visit service to lead innovators to understand the manufacturing supply chain and help the hardware startups to cooperate with manufacturing partners.
